Why join Downers Grove Area Newcomers?

For more than 40 years, Newcomers has offered area women the opportunity to develop friendships and pursue new interests and talents. All area women are invited to join regardless of length of residency.

Community Involvement
Each year the club selects a local charity as the beneficiary of the club's fund-raising activities. Throughout the 2007-2008 club year, Newcomers will support Family Shelter Service, an area non-profit that provides programs and resources to empower victims of domestic violence.

Members also have the chance to volunteer at many community events such as Downers Grove's Heritage Festival and the Bike and Buggy Parade.
